Administrative Support: ring! Hello, we've got just the job for you. Our office needs your help. Anything from answering the phones to organizing newsletter mailings to providing administrative assistance. This is a crucial area of volunteerism, and usually the less glamorous side of it, however, for most non-profits, it is usually the most needed.
Meals Program: Assist in cooking and/or packaging meals for clients in need of meals assistance. In addition to preparing the meals, we also need help in delivering the meals to clients. Don't have an inner Betty Crocker? Don't worry, the meals program is great for groups or church and community organizations. Bring your friends, the more the merrier.
Fun Club: Work with children of all ages facilitating age appropriate activities, social and recreation events, as well as social programs held throughout the year.
Charitable Bingo: Assist ACCESS AIDS Care staff in conducting weekend Bingo games on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. The funds raised go directly towards continuing our mission of supporting HIV/AIDS affected individuals within our community.
Special Events/Fundraising: Help support and promote our annual fundraising events - Dining Out For Life in April and Dinner Is Served in the fall. For more information on those events and how to get involved, contact Katie Donahue at

- Dining Out For Life is a partnership between ACCESS AIDS Care and area restaurants in Hampton Roads. Every year, on the last Thursday in April, local restaurants donate 25% of all food sales earned to ACCESS AIDS Care and we need volunteer support to fill them with diners. How simple is that? Dine Out and Give Back!
- Dinner Is Served is a unique local fundraising event in which volunteers host dinner parties in their own homes and solicit donations from friends and family on behalf of the agency. It's the fundraiser's version of a Progressive Dinner, with the final stop being the ACCESS AIDS Care Champagne & Dessert Gala.
Third Party Events: You don't have to physically be at ACCESS AIDS Care to be a volunteer. Volunteer events are happening all over Hampton Roads in honor of ACCESS AIDS Care.
