Hampton Roads DINING OUT FOR LIFE 2012

Mark your calendars and let all your friends know - our next Dining Out For Life is scheduled for Thursday, April 26, 2012.
This past April's event raised over $70,000 and 65 restaurant participated! Next year we hope to do even better but we will need your help to do it. So save the date and spread the word!
Dining Out For Life is an international event that has found its place here in Hampton Roads. Locally more than 175 restaurants have participated with ACCESS AIDS Care in this annual event. Last year’s event was a huge success and we raised close to $80,000. The funds raised from the event went towards providing services to more than 500 individuals living with HIV/AIDS right in our community. This year we hope to raise even more but need your help to do it. In exchange for our local restaurants’ donations to ACCESS AIDS Care, we promote their restaurant and put volunteers in each restaurant to help fill it up for Dining Out For Life. All proceeds from the event will remain in Hampton Roads to fight HIV/AIDS.

AS A PARTICIPANT, YOUR RESTAURANT AGREES TO:
1. Contribute a minimum of 25% of gross restaurant sales for dinner (5pm—11pm) on Thursday, April 26th, 2012. Restaurants that contribute at higher levels receive additional promotional recognition.
2. Allow ACCESS AIDS Care to use this restaurant’s name, location, and phone number in materials promoting the event.
3. Promote the event by displaying and/or distributing DOFL material at least one week prior to the event.
4. Send a check payable to ACCESS AIDS Care for the designated percentage of gross food sales no later than May 20, 2012.
AS A DOFL RESTAURANT SPONSOR, ACCESS AIDS CARE WILL:
1. Produce, utilize, and distribute attractive, high quality promotional materials including posters, bill stuffers, and postcards.
2. Coordinate a publicity campaign to promote DOFL via local radio, television, print media, Internet, and agency newsletter.
3. Mail DOFL postcards with complete list of participating restaurants to over 10,000 supporters.
4. Provide communication with your restaurant about DOFL.
5. Recruit volunteers to host your restaurant on Thursday, April 26th, 2012.
ACCESS AIDS Care is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. Your business’s participation in the 2012 Dining Out For Life event may be tax deductible up to 100% of your donation. Please consult your tax advisor for information on how your donation can positively impact your business.
NOTE: Please note that the information provided on this form will be used on the Dining Out For Life website only and will aide diners in distinguishing between the participating restaurants and to decide where to dine on the evening of Dining Out For Life. The information will not be provided in promotional marketing material (i.e. posters, media advertisement, general invitations) other than on the Hampton Roads/ACCESS AIDS Care Dining Out For Life website.
