Executive Director

Stacie Walls-BeegleStacie Walls-Beegle, Executive Director

Ms. Walls-Beegle has served as CEO of ACCESS AIDS Care since 2001.  Her leadership experience helped to successfully merge two AIDS Service Organizations - CANDII and Full Circle AIDS Hospice Support in 2005.  In 2011, under Ms. Walls-Beegle’s leadership, ACCESS AIDS Care opened the region’s first and only LGBT Center of Hampton Roads, located in Norfolk, VA.  She has over 25 years of human service experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, HIV/AIDS and 20 years of executive leadership experience. 

In addition to HRBOR, Ms. Walls-Beegle serves on two other national non-profit boards, including Dining Out For Life International since 2007, where she has served as Board President for two years.  Currently, she is serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors for CenterLink, a national organization serving LGBT community centers throughout the country. Ms. Walls-Beegle currently serves on various local planning committees addressing HIV/AIDS and homeless services throughout the region. She is very active with homeless providers and policy at the federal, state and community levels and serves as committee chairperson (Program Monitoring Committee) for both the Southeastern Virginia Homeless Consortium and BEACH (Bringing an End to All City Homelessness) in Virginia Beach. Ms. Walls-Beegle served 12 years on the Ryan White Greater Hampton Roads Planning Council.

Ms. Walls-Beegle has lived in Hampton Roads for more than 25 years, serving in the non-profit sector her entire career.

Ms. Walls-Beegle is a native of Kansas completed her undergraduate degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. She completed the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Management Academy of Public Health.
